9 Best Wedding Venues in Eureka Springs and the Arkansas Ozarks (2026 Guide)
Eureka Springs is the closest thing Arkansas has to a wedding industry town.
A Victorian resort village of about 2,100 people built into an Ozark hillside, it has been marrying people for well over a century, and it has the infrastructure to prove it: a wedding chapel that is a work of internationally recognised architecture, a haunted 1886 hotel, treehouses and hobbit caves with published elopement packages, and enough officiants and photographers for a town twenty times its size.
It is also the cheapest place in this guide to get married very well. Thorncrown Chapel, which architecture critics have ranked among the finest American buildings of the twentieth century, will host your ceremony for $1,495 on a Tuesday.
We cataloged 26 wedding venues across Eureka Springs and the Arkansas Ozarks. Below are the 9 we would point a couple to first.

Quick context on Ozarks venue pricing
Statewide, published Arkansas wedding venue packages have a median starting price of $2,500, with half the market between $1,898 and $3,500.
The Ozarks returned only two venues above our $1,500 floor, which is not enough for a regional median. The reason is structural rather than a data gap: this is an elopement and small-wedding market, and most of its inventory prices below $1,500 on purpose. The published rates below tell the story better than any average could.
The chapels
1. Thorncrown Chapel
A glass and timber chapel in the woods outside Eureka Springs, seating up to 100. It is a Fay Jones design, it has won the American Institute of Architects' Twenty-five Year Award, and it is the single most significant building you can get married in anywhere in this region. Pricing is published in full:
- Saturday, two-hour reservation $1,795
- Friday or Sunday, two hours $1,595
- Monday to Thursday, two hours $1,495, or 90 minutes $1,195
- Monday to Thursday elopement, one hour $695
- Optional one-hour rehearsal $695
Capacity 4 to 100, ceremony only.
Note the shape of that card: the gap between a Saturday and a Tuesday is $300, which is small in absolute terms and means you do not have to compromise your date much to save. The $695 weekday elopement is the best value on this entire page.
2. Blue Spring Heritage Center
A historic heritage site outside Eureka Springs with outdoor wedding settings from intimate garden gazebos up to a spring terrace holding 500 guests, with several sites also usable for receptions.
At 500 this is by far the largest capacity in the Ozarks, and it is the answer if you want a big wedding in this region, which otherwise caters almost entirely to small ones.
The historic hotels
3. Crescent Hotel and Spa
An 1886 hilltop hotel and spa in Eureka Springs with weddings among its offerings, combining Victorian architecture, lodging, dining, and a spa. Wedding pricing is not published; room rates carry a $19.75 daily resort fee plus 14.375% tax and a 3% voluntary service charge.
The Crescent is the landmark of Eureka Springs and it is also famously reputed to be haunted, which some couples consider a feature. Practically, it is the largest block of lodging in town attached to a venue.
4. Hotel Seville
A historic 1929 downtown hotel in Harrison with an on-site Grand Ballroom and additional event spaces. Harrison is about 35 minutes east of Eureka Springs and has more everyday infrastructure, which for a guest list travelling in can matter more than charm.
5. Red Apple Inn & Country Club
A lakefront Ozark resort in Heber Springs with indoor and outdoor wedding venues, on-site catering, and lodging, capacity 15 to 250. Wedding pricing is not published; lodging runs $215 to $660 per night depending on unit and season.
Heber Springs is on the eastern edge of the Ozarks, closer to Little Rock than to Eureka Springs, and Greers Ferry Lake is the setting.
The elopement specialists
This is what Eureka Springs does better than anywhere else, and the prices are not typos.
6. Treehouse Cottages
A lodging property offering small outdoor garden weddings, elopements, and vow renewals. Packages include an ordained minister, a wedding coordinator, cake, flowers, champagne or non-alcoholic wine, and digital music:
- $475 for the couple and up to 6 guests, May to October
- $450 for the couple and up to 2 guests, May to October
- $425 year-round for the couple and up to 2 guests, ceremony in a cottage
Room stay is not included.
A complete wedding with an officiant, coordinator, cake, and flowers for $475 is not a typographical error, and it is the cheapest full ceremony package we have found in any state.
7. Eureka Springs Treehouses, Caves, Castles & Hobbits
A whimsical lodging property offering elopements and small ceremonies in themed treehouses, hobbit caves, castles, and a waterfall chapel, capacity 2 to 8. Packages run $214 for a couple-only ceremony to $341 with up to four guests, with an Ultimate package at $306 excluding lodging and vow renewals from $186.
It is exactly as unusual as it sounds, and for a couple who want to get married in a hobbit cave beside a waterfall, there is precisely one place in America to do it.
Buffalo River country
8. Buffalo Outdoor Center
An adventure resort in Ponca on the Buffalo National River, hosting weddings in lodges, cabins, and select river or trail locations, capacity 25 to 100. Pricing is not published; the site says the price tag is not high and points couples to a wedding coordinator.
The Buffalo is America's first national river, Ponca is in the middle of the best of it, and the area is a certified dark-sky destination. For an outdoor couple this is the most beautiful setting in Arkansas and the least conventional wedding on this list.
9. Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse
A historic log-cabin steakhouse near Eureka Springs hosting wedding parties, rehearsal dinners, and private celebrations. Note the 20% gratuity on parties of six or more. An excellent rehearsal-dinner answer.
How to shop the Ozarks
Understand what kind of market this is. Eureka Springs is built for weddings of 2 to 100, not 250. If your guest list is large, Blue Spring's 500-capacity terrace and the Crescent are the realistic options, and everything else here will feel like a squeeze.
Split the ceremony and the reception. Thorncrown is ceremony only. So is Cooper Chapel over in Bella Vista. In this region the standard pattern is a significant chapel for the ceremony and a restaurant, hotel, or heritage site for the reception, and it usually costs less than a single all-in-one venue would.
Book peak foliage a year out. Ozark colour peaks in the last two weeks of October and that is when Eureka Springs is fullest. Lodging across the town tightens, rates rise, and the good chapels go early.
Weekday pricing is real but modest here. Thorncrown's Saturday-to-Tuesday gap is $300. Treehouse Cottages varies $50 by season. Unlike Little Rock or the bayou parishes, moving your date in the Ozarks saves hundreds rather than thousands, so prioritise the date you want.
Check the drive. Eureka Springs is about 50 minutes from Northwest Arkansas' airport and 3.5 hours from Little Rock, on winding mountain roads. Tell your guests. The roads are beautiful and they are not fast.
Our venue checklist and the questions to ask on a venue tour cover the rest, and what a wedding venue costs puts these numbers in national context.
